Campus Photohoot - Spring 2024
What was the purpose of the project?
Recreational Services wanted to highlight their Indian Creek Challenge Course in an annual magazine they publish but didn't have any photos. I offered to visit the location and do an all-day photoshoot up on the three-story challenge course itself. I chose a day when the Student Orientation team was there so I could feature real students.
What did the project consist of?
The photoshoot lasted an entire day and I navigated the challenge course as the students traversed it with their guides. While taking photos from the top level of the three-story course, I directed the students to achieve certain photos requested by Recreational Services. It was an incredibly fun and unique experience!
What was the outcome of the project?
We got some wonderful photos that were used in multiple issues of Recreational Service's "Rap-Up" magazine and were also featured on the main Georgia State website. Three other Student Engagement deparments saw the new photos and booked team developement trainings over the summer at the Indian Creek Recreational Area Challenge Course.
