Art Installations - Fall 2024
What was the purpose of the project?
These art installations were part of the Identity, Placemaking & Belonging pillar of Georgia State's Strategic Plan. Two areas of campus underwent extensive renovations and the murals were commisioned to celebrate those spaces reopening.
What did the project consist of?
This project was done in two parts. The first was for Student Orientation and was a single wall wrap. The second was for the Student Center and was two complimentary wall wraps. After designing all three murals, I coordinated the installation with a campus vendor to have both installed before the spaces reopened to the public.
What was the outcome of the project?
Both Student Orientation and the Student Center were incredibly happy with the art installations! All three murals were installed ahead of schedule and without any issue. Both spaces had wonderful grand reopening events featuring the new artwork and were featured on Georgia State's main social channels and website.
